Got this mix from Mele from last week, it features some fresh hip-hop and grime mixed with some heavy electro beats. The whole thing sounds really cool, check out the tracklisting in the mixcloud above.
First up its the Dusky remix of the Rudimental track “Feel The Love” featuring John Newman. This Rudimental is/shall be massive when it released, its such a great cross over tune. This Dusky remix takes the track quite far away from the original into deep dark electro territory.
Second track is “Rather B” from 5kinAndBone5. This is a producer I have liked for a while now, and I’m happy every time I see something new on soundcloud, because I know its going to sound cool. Just like this track here, which is a bit garage, a bit tech, a bit deep electro but 100% quality.
Last one comes from A.CHAL and the track “Paid In Full”. This guy right here is making music like nobody else right now, well no one I’ve heard anyway. And because of that its hard to describe, its got nice sub on the track, with cool electro bit and cut up vocals. Want something fresh, check this out. Download the wav in soundcloud, mp3 link below.
Here is the video for ‘How Can I Live Without You (Make It Right)’, the new track from Herve featuring Ronika. The track comes complete with remixes from long time Hervé collaborator and Kiss FM DJ Sinden, and Cheap Thrills’ finest including Detboi, Moonbootica, Fireflowerz and Mighty Mouse, out on July 15th on Cheap Thrills. Then one week after comes the long awaited Herve album “Pick Me Up, Sort Me Out, Calm Me Down”
First up its the VIP mix of the Sub Frocus track “Falling Down”. “Falling Down” was a big track for Sub Focus at the end of last year which he released for free download. Now the track is back and bigger than ever, out now on Skrillex’s OWSLA record label with remixes from xKore and Nick Thayer.
Second track comes from Stinkahbell and his track “Stinkahz’ in Paris”. As you might have guessed its a bootleg remix of the Jay-Z and Kanye West track “Niggas In Paris”. Stinkahbell uploaded this track to his soundclous as a thank you for reaching 3k twitter followers.
Last one is from production duo Soap Dodgers with the track “Ice Cream”. I first heard this track on Korporate Kane’s radio show on Filth FM and thought it sounded really cool. Since then I have played it quite a lot, for a dubstep track its got quite an electro house vibe, with lots of bounce, wobble and sub.

First one comes from Andy C with his remix of the DJ Fresh track “The Power” featuring Dizzee Rascal. DJ fresh is incredible and I have loved Dizzee Rascal for over 10 years now, so when I saw they were collaborating I was excited, especially after loving “Hot Right Now” and “Louder” but what has been released is disappointing to my ears, I’m afraid. This Andy C remix makes the track a bit more hype, but I still don’t love it.
Second track is the Blame remix of the Skepta track “Make Peace Not War”. I posted the Stinkahbell remix last week, now here is the Blame D&B remix which I think I prefer. I don’t think I listen to enough Blame because I have a few remixes which I love but not much else, I am going to try to remedy this.
Last up its the Camo & Krooked remix of “The Siren” by Bungle. I saved my favourite track for last here. This track is close to my D&B perfection in my eyes. Its got it all, beautiful vocal, liquidy synthy D&B in places but still comes with the energy that makes you want to jump up.
This is the official video for the new track from Benga, “Icon” featuring Bebe Black. Benga had to deal with some haters on twitter at the weekend but I am not one of them, I think this is a massive tune and I can not wait to hear the whole album.
First track is the Chuckie remix of “Via Con Me (Its Wonderful)” by Milk & Sugar Feat. Neri Per Caso. First thing I have to say is that this remix is bonkers, the drop is out of this world. Chuckie once again secures his place in my head as my favourite Dutch house producer.
Second one comes from Daddy’s Groove and the remix of Laserlight by Jessie J featuring David Guetta. I had my doubts about how good this track would be but this remix takes this track to another planet. The Jessie J vocals no longer make me want to tear my ears off and Daddy’s Groove beats are massive.
Last up its No Bleep remix of “Get Low” from Sidney Samson. Now I’m assuming this is Sidney Samson’s remix of his own track and not from a producer called No Bleep. I hope I am right in that assumption. But either way, its a cool version of this banging Sidney Samson track.
I have got the Roksonix Daily Dose of Dubstep mix from the 14th May from Mistajam’s 1xtra radio show here to download. It’s a big mix with a bigger tracklisting, check it out below.

DJ Fresh – Hot Right Now (Camo and Krooked Remix)
Adam F – When the Rain is Gone (Delta Heavy Remix)
Loadstar – Second Skin
DJ Fresh – The Power (Andy C Remix)
First I’ve got the Delta Heavy remix of the Rita Ora track “R.I.P” featuring Tinie Tempah. I thought Rita Ora would come out with something better than this as her first track after “Hot Right Now”. The overwhelming feeling I get when I hear the track is, that Chase & Status remix of Heartbeat is still an absolute tune. Delta Heavy on the remix here, gives the track some heavy bass.
Second one comes from Stinkahbell remixing Skepta with “Peace Not War”. One thing I have to say about Skepta is that his production is always quality and the samples he uses are great, I actually don’t why he doesn’t have more mainstream success. Stinkahbell doing the business on the remix, giving it quite a grimey dubstep feel.
Last up its Flufftronix on the remix of “I Don’t Like” by Cheif Keef featuring Lil Reese. It surprises me how much I like this track, I can’t put my finger on what it is I like so much, the track just sounds fresh and cool.
