Dubstep Remixes from Delta Heavy, Stinkahbell & Flufftronix

First I’ve got the Delta Heavy remix of the Rita Ora track “R.I.P” featuring Tinie Tempah. I thought Rita Ora would come out with something better than this as her first track after “Hot Right Now”. The overwhelming feeling I get when I hear the track is, that Chase & Status remix of Heartbeat is still an absolute tune. Delta Heavy on the remix here, gives the track some heavy bass.

Second one comes from Stinkahbell remixing Skepta with “Peace Not War”. One thing I have to say about Skepta is that his production is always quality and the samples he uses are great, I actually don’t why he doesn’t have more mainstream success. Stinkahbell doing the business on the remix, giving it quite a grimey dubstep feel.

Last up its Flufftronix on the remix of “I Don’t Like” by Cheif Keef featuring Lil Reese. It surprises me how much I like this track, I can’t put my finger on what it is I like so much, the track just sounds fresh and cool.

Second up a remix from probably my favourite producers at the moment, its the Maribou State remix of the Lana Del Rey song “Blue Jeans”. I love the original and with these guys remixing I love it even more.

Stream Fabriclive 63 Mixed by Digital Soundboy

Digital Soundboy Soundsystem have stepped up to mix the next instalment of the legendary FABRICLIVE series. Their very first mix as a collective, FABRICLIVE 63 is released next Monday 21st May. Ahead of that release, you can stream the mix in full on mixmag’s soundcloud below. Check out the tracklisting after the jump to see all 49 tracks.

I saw the whole Digital Soundboy Soundsystem DJ in Fabric last Friday and if the mix is half as good as that then its well worth buying. Shy FX, Breakage and B. Traits all sounded great, and so was Youngman, Stamina MC not so much.

First track is from DC Breaks with “Move Close” featuring Belle Humble. Taken from the “Firez EP” out now on RAM Records. Probably my favourite track off the EP after Firez, I like the vocal but I like it even more when the vocal is dropped and the beat goes hard.

Second one is DJ Marky and S.P.Y working together on the track “Last Night”. Probably one of my favourite production pairings in D&B, they have this unique sound which I just can’t get enough. This track is out now on Innerground Records with “Love Affair” as a pretty amazing B-Side.

Last up its J Majik and Wickaman with “Don’t Go” featuring Keri Greenaway. Taken from the “Behind The Mask EP” out now on InfraRed Music. I think this is my favourite track from the EP, the track feature’s a sample from a Moby track which I can’t remember the name of. Also got this nice vocal and jungle style drums. Very cool track.

First up its Pryda with “Allein”. Another week, another new track from Pryda. I think I like this track better than last weeks “SW4″, probably just because I’m sucker for a sample/vocal.

Second one is “Nothing Inside” from Sander Van Doorn and Mayaeni. I posted the Adam F remix a few weeks ago, but this original mix is a good tune. The vocal sucks you in, then you get this killer synthy build up followed but a big pumping house drop. Check it out.

Global Gathering Announce Line-up Additions

GlobalGathering – the UK’s most diverse and progressive electronic music festival today announces additions to the line-up for the 2012 event, taking the list of acts confirmed to undeniable levels of greatness. The festival returns to Long Marston Airfield, Stratford Upon Avon on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th July for its 12th year.

GlobalGathering are also pleased to today announce two new stages to add to the list, The first, are Birmingham-based promoters Ec-lectricity, who are bring Redlight and Breakage to the festival. As well as Tech House titan James Zabiela, Pearson Sound, Ben UFO and Pangae representing Hessle Audio and Roses Gabor (Live), Rockwell and George Fitzgerald.

Also announced today, the House stage will offer up anthem after dance anthem from world-renowned purveyors of the finest party songs around. 22-year old Nicky Romero, makes his GlobalGathering debut this year. Joining Romero is Tommy Trash, Dada Life, R3hab and Rob Guson.
